BACHELOR OF INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS

International Business Major

Question 2: What are the application requirements and admission schedule for the International Bachelor Program of International Business? 

Answer:

Application requirements:

• Graduation from high school, preferably with high academic records in Mathematics and English of Grade 12
• Successful completion of B2 level of Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) or relevant. 

Target: 120 students.

Enrolment deadline: 31/08

Program duration: 4 years (*). 

(* The duration of program can be shortened to 3 years a half in the case the student successfully achieved all of the papers required)

Question 3: How much is the tuition costs?

Answer: The amount of tuition is fixed through the 4 years of studying. The tuition fees will be collected by VNĐ based on the standard tuition fee regulation from Keuka College with the exchange rates of Vietcombank at the period announced)

Note:

• The tuition fees dedicated above has included all of the costs for students' medical insurance, student's card and library card...
• The tuition fees dedicated above also included the registering expense for a student to accomplish the IELTS English test. However, this will only be generated only be generated only after that student had finished the English course IEEP at ITEC.

Question 4: How about the Study model?

Answer: 

• Students can complete the program right away at University of Science HCM in 4 years duration and receive the Bachelor Certificate issued by Keuka College (* The duration of the program can be shortened to 3 years and half in the case the student successfully achieved all of the papers required).
• Students can apply for the Articulation Programme to complete their 1 or 2 final studying years oversea.

Question 5: What are the requirements if I want to apply for the Articulation Programme to study abroad?

Answer: 

• Completing all of the require papers at University of Science HCM in the first section of program (1st + 2nd year)
• When deciding to study abroad to complete the second section of the program (3rd + 4th year), students need to complete their Property Owner Claims document.
• Foreign language requirements: with Keuka College, the required score for the TOEFL iBT test is 79-80 or IELTS test is 6.0. 

Question 6: As s student of ITEC, what are the benefits or resources that students can obtain?

Answer:

• Considered as an admitted student of the Ho Chi Minh University of Science (HCMUS), Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh (VNUHCM) and also of Keuka, College, USA
• Receiving a Student Certification issued by HCMUS, VNUHCM.
• Receiving a Student Card, Bank Card, Library Card (all free) issued by HCMUS, VNUHCM.
• Receiving a Medical Insurance provided by ITEC
• Participating in many academic, social and athletic activities provided by ITEC
• Receiving Keuka College’s Student ID Card, an email address, a free login account into the Studying Resources Database.
• Receiving in advance announcements about the studying schedule and the program plan for the full-time study period.
• Having the opportunity to enhance skills through many offline activities
• Available career opportunities after graduating

Question 7: When applying for the International Bachelor Program, do the students need to complete any compelling subjects of Vietnam's Education System?

Answer: The International Bachelor Program has been developed based on the Education system of Partner Universities of University of Science HCM, therefore, there will be no compelling subjects of Vietnam's Education System that the students need to complete, such as: Physics, Military Education, Philosophy, Marxism and Leninism. 

Question 8: Is International Training & Education Center -  ITEC a part of University of Science HCM? Can ITEC students be considered as official students of University of Science HCM? Where is the official studying campus? 

Answer: The International Training & Education Center is a part of University of Science HCM. ITEC's students are also considered as official of University of Science HCM. ITEC's students will complete their study at one official campus: University of Science HCM, 227 Nguyen Van Cu, Building I, B and T3H. 

Question 9: Is ther any different between the Bachelor Degree Certificated issued by Keuka College for the students in Vietnam and the Bachelor Degree Certificate issued by Keuka College for the students in New York, USA? 

Answer: Since the Bachelor Degree issued by Keuka College is accepted worldwide, there will be no difference in certificate issuance both Vietnam or America.

Question 10: Why the name of the university is "Keuka College" instead of Keuka University? 

Answer: In the America Educational system, College and University have the same meaning as University, the actual college program (in only 2-year period) is called Community College. There is no much different between College and University. Both of them are able to issue the Bachelor Degree (4-year period). The word College or University is not as important as the school itself is accredited by prestigious organizations. Question 11: How about the reputation of Keuka College? Was the International Business Management Program already accredited?

Answer: The Keuka College is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, one of the most prestigious accrediting organizations in the US. The Joint Bachelor of Science in Management with a major in International Business is accredited by the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE), one of the most prestigious business accreditting organizations.

Question 12: Is this program accredited and authorized by the Vietnam authorities?

Answer: This program has the license from the  Vietnam National University HCMC with license No. 1496/QĐ-ĐHQG-QHĐN  , signed on 27th December 2017 which allows  the HCM University of Science implements the Joint Bachelor of Science in Management with a major in International Business with Keuka College, New York (USA).
