The International Training & Education Center (ITEC), HCM University of Science, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM) is enrolling students for the International Bachelor Program of Computer and Information Sciences AUT (for the three majors: Artificial Intelligence, Software Development & IT Service Science); and for the International Bachelor Program of Sciences in Management (majored in the International Business) for the academic year 2020 - 2021. 

 

1. Program entry requirements:

- Graduation from high schools, preferably with high academic records in Mathematics and English of Grade 12.
- Successful completion of B2 level of Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) or an equivalent.

- Admission Process:

• From 2019 onwards, high school students who achieve a minimum of 600 score on the Entrance Examinations offered by Vietnam National University HCMC (https://thinangluc.vnuhcm.edu.vn/dgnl) are qualified to study in our programs.
• Candidates who do not achieve IELTS Bands 6.0 or an equivalent are required to participate in the English Placement test provided by the International Training & Education Center (ITEC), HCM University of Science, VNU-HCM.

- Direct admission:

All candidates who have successfully earned high school diplomas from International High schools with English as the language of instruction in Vietnam or overseas are eligible for direct admission into the program.

 

2. Enrollment target: 

• 120 students for the program of Computer and Information Sciences AUT 
• 80 students for the program of Science in Management

 

3. Duration: 4 years

 

4. Main Campus: HCM University of Science, 227 Nguyen Van Cu street, Ward 5, Ho Chi Minh City.

 

5. Program curriculum: Four-year Full- time study at HCM University of Science, VNU-HCM with the following schemes

• Compulsory and elective courses will be delivered by faculty members from the HCM University of Science and other members of VNUHCM system.
• Core courses (International Business major) will be delivered by faculty members from our partner universities (Keuka US and AUT New Zealand).

 

6. Application checklist:

- The Certified copy of High School Diploma

- The certified copy of High School Academic Transcript

- The certified copy of National High School Examination

- The certified copy of VNUHCM Academic Performance Test (if any)

- English Proficiency Test Certificate (if any)
